First the roses. Then the berries. Then the magic.
Every now and then, nature creates something truly unforgettable. Harvested from the wild blackberry, kānuka and Mānuka growing throughout the remote alpine landscapes surrounding Mt Lyford, this remarkable honey has become one of our most treasured seasonal harvests. Awarded a Bronze Medal in the APINZ Honey Awards (Special Reserve Category), it has also been recognised by premium bulk buyers for its exceptional flavour and quality.
Elegant, beautifully layered and unlike any traditional Mānuka honey, it's the honey people remember long after the last spoonful.
Wild Blackberry & Mānuka Honey is one of the most captivating honeys we harvest.
Although naturally high in kānuka and Mānuka, its flavour is wonderfully floral rather than herbal. Delicate wild rose petals open the tasting experience, followed by the sweet nectar of ripe blackberries before warm buttery Mānuka gently emerges, leaving a beautifully balanced floral finish.
Its rich bouquet of berries and roses, together with its unforgettable flavour, has made it a favourite at tastings and one of the most sought-after honeys in our collection. Cold extracted, never blended and harvested in small seasonal batches, every jar captures the changing character of New Zealand's wild alpine landscape.
Elegant. Unforgettable. Uniquely Mt Lyford.
